The End of the Tour

So it's over now, and I've been back on the East Coast for nearly a week. It felt incredibly weird at first to be in one place, sitting still, after such a frenetic two-week period. Kind of like coming down from taking multiple hits of really good ecstasy.

Or so I've heard.

Anyway, I barely got a chance to do any writing during the tour, what with all the performing and video-uploading and endless, endless driving. (God, I hate Pennsylvania.) I hope to do a lengthy recap soon highlighting my adventures while I simultaneously get ready to move into my new NYC apartment. (More on that soon as well.) In the meantime, here are the remaining tour videos. There will be one more video documenting my return to Therapy this Sunday, when I perform at Brad Loekle's "Electro Shock Therapy Comedy Hour." And I hope to keep videotaping as much as possible going forward, since I've gotten such great feedback from all of you, my dear readers.

The Home Stretch

Hey, Kids.

I made it to the Poconos for my last gig of the tour, which is tonight at Rainbow Mountain Resort. (Technically, my last tour gig is next week, at Brad Loekle's Electro Shock Therapy Comedy Hour, but this is the last road gig.) In just another 60 miles, I'll reach my parents' home in New Jersey, where I plan to pass out for a week.

In some ways, it feels like I've been on the road forever. At the same time, I can't believe how quickly the time flew.

I am so grateful to all of you for your warm wishes, comments, emails, Facebook messages, donations and overall support, and most especially to all the wonderful people who invited me into their homes along the way. I am forever in your debt.

There's a new Lexington/Pittsburgh video uploading as we speak. In the meantime, here are a couple you may have missed.

Day 9: Little Rock/Memphis

Day 10: Nashville

That's all for now!

Little Rock Video, As Promised

Here ya go!

Catching Up On Video Blogs (Again)!

Hi, Y'all!

Here I am in Little Rock for day two of my visit with my dear friend Walt Nickels. Last night I performed at Star Bar for what was probably my best show of the tour so far. What a totally lovely crowd.

I have been uploading videos to my facebook page like a mutherfucker, so I figured I should post them here for those of you blog readers who aren't on Facebook.

Enjoy!

Day 5: Santa Fe (Part 2)

Day 6: Amarillo

Days 6-7: Amarillo/Oklahoma City

Day 7: Oklahoma City
WARNING: CONTAINS PARTIAL MALE NUDITY!

Check back here in a few hours to watch the Little Rock video, which is finished but which I'm having trouble uploading to FB. Otherwise, consider yourselves caught up! Tomorrow I leave for Memphis for a rest day, and then it's on to Nashville Tuesday to visit Kasey and Adam Dread and perform with Adam at Hollywood Disco. Details here.

Thanks for all the sweet comments, emails, FB messages and donations!
I love you guys...

Albuquerque/Santa Fe

It's 7:32 am in Santa Fe, and I am waking up from a glorious nine hours of sleep in Jeanne and Lee's "Samurai Suite." Am about to feast on Jeanne's oatmeal, then I'm off on my "comedy marathon" -- three shows, three cities, three nights in a row, covering more than 900 miles.

First stop: Amarillo, TX.

Thank you for the generous blog donations; I appreciate them more than I can express.

And now, the latest video:

Catching Up On Video Blogs!

Hey, Everyone!

I haven't had time to type a word, what with the constant driving, performing and video-uploading. Am in Albuquerque tonight about to perform at the Social Club with singer Kimo Liscious. But I figured I'd catch up on posting some videos here, for anyone who may have missed them on Facebook or YouTube.

For some reason, in the process of transferring the videos from Flip to YouTube to this blog, they appear a bit off-center. Also, I made Part 2 of Yuma too long for YouTube, so you only get an excerpt below. In general, the best way to view these videos is on my Facebook page, so if you're not already my friend on there, become one! (And become a fan, too! In the immortal words of Jennifer Saunders on "Absolutely Fabulous," "I'm sorry if that sounds selfish, sweetie, but it's me, me, me!")

Best. Show. Ever.

A quick thank you to everyone on the tour thus far who have been so incredibly sweet to me, including Rich (and his parents), Chris, the folks at the Closet in Yuma and Woody's in Tucson, Kimo and whoever made me the cobb salad in Yuma last night.

Without further doo-doo, the rest of the tour videos to date:

OK! I'm off to the Albuquerque Social Club... and then to Santa Fe tomorrow. Love and best wishes to you all.
